While the last few years have been anything but traditional in the real estate market, March typically marks the start of the homebuying season.
And for all of our Realtor friends, that means now is the time to shine!
The Transnation Title team knows that today’s environment is not without its challenges. Luckily, there are things we can all do to focus on when it comes to gaining and retaining clients and growing customer loyalty even when the madness of the season can feel overwhelming.
Here are four tips on building stronger client relationships
- Build up your virtual appeal
Most people turn to a web search when they’re first looking for a Realtor. If your online presence hasn’t been updated in a while, you could be missing out on clients. One way to improve this is to create a video library that includes fun facts about your area, local housing market snapshots or even your favorite parks.
- Host a client appreciation event
Everyone loves a party! Events like these can help build loyalty and generate leads. They’re also a great way to reconnect with clients you may not have seen in some time and to thank everyone for their business. Get creative with your event! From drive-in movie nights to nice dinners, the possibilities are endless.
- Create a powerful peer referral network
Look at markets where new residents in your area are coming from and build referral partners with agents in those areas. Work to create a memorable experience with peers and they’ll be more likely to remember and refer you to others.
- Earn a thank you
In conversations with prospective clients, listen carefully to their problems and think of favors you can do for them. For example, get an estimate from a handyman or painter if a prospect is struggling with renovations. These extra steps create deeper, more long-lasting relationships.
